Josh Babu is a video artist working with gesture, speed, line, texture, action, and rhythm. He received a BA in Art from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts and works as a freelance videographer for fringe and mainstream communities alike. Most notably, he has produced four full-length BMX videos titled "The Hot Series" released by Empire BMX.

Josh Babu presented an installation incorporating interactive sculptures, video monitors, and bicycle parts as a way to explore the concepts of trajectory & speed, motion & light, and gesture & form demonstrated by the human body and life approach of the BMXer. The project highlights a way of going about life that is central to BMXers and aims to share certain aspects of this approach that recognize the physical body in space and its relationship to materials, space, travel, and the ability to manifest and balance form and fun.https://vimeo.com/244538505
