THIS IS the First Weirdos in the Woods Fundraiser!

We’re kicking things off with our first-ever fundraiser for Weirdos in the Woods—a grassroots, interdisciplinary arts festival happening Labor Day Weekend, August 29–31, 2025 in the Hudson Valley.

Organized by The Tavern and Three Phase Center (Stone Ridge, NY) in collaboration with Rosekill Art Farm (Rosendale, NY), this festival will feature over 30 artists working across sound, performance, visual art, music, and other experimental forms.

Our fundraising mission? To pay artists—especially those who hustle in trades, tech, and labor—fairly for their creative work. In the face of ongoing art funding cuts, we’re building new models of mutual support and community care.

THE FOURTH OF JULY FUND RAISER INCLUDES:

 

-Interactive art experiences with artists Ernest Goodmaw, Adam Zaretsky, and more!

-An arm wrestling tournament with prizes 💪

-Electronic noises and real explosions!

-Games, a lemonade stand, snacks and food for sale

-A silent auction of artist-made goods & services

-A community raffle with great prizes!

-Suggested donation: $20
-Tournament entry: $10
-Food and drinks available for purchase.
